Master’s degree program has started student admission from 2008-2009 academic year. A total of 1 Professor, 5 Associate Professors and 2 Assistant Professors are working in our department and basic and applied researches are carried out in the areas of analysis, algebra and number theory, applied mathematics, geometry and topology. Consequently, the curriculum is compatible with the areas of specialization of academic cadres.
The aim of the department is to educate individuals who are investigative,curious, cooperative, equipped with strong and powerful knowledge in mathematics and who are masters of their subject.
Master graduates take charge in different levels of the universities, public and private institutions as well as research institutes both in country and foreign countries.

The aim of the department is to educate academic thinkers who have the ability to conduct independent research in the Mathematics and to interpret scientific events with a broad and deep perspective. The program aims to develop skills in both theoretical and applied areas to improve themselves by conducting research, interpretation and to publish their conclusions and ideas on scientific platforms verbally or in writing.
The graduates can work in public institutions and the private sector, in universities and research institutes.
